This was the BEST Lobster, Seafood Buffet in the whole California for a great deal. No one else can beat this place. I think they are better than the buffets in Vegas too, comparing with prices, quality and selections and we been too many buffets. To bad they are closed forever. Hopefully they will open back and get the crowed they need. Hard Rock and Red Hawk casinos are taking over the competition now. I will give this buffet a 5 stars bc that's what they deserve when they were still open. Hope they re-open soon!

The Rancheria Buffet is located in the Jackson's Casino. Every time we're craving a higher end buffet, we always make the trek up to this location. We haven't found a closer buffet that serves this kind of food (e.g. lobster, crab, filet mignon, prime rib, etc). The food is always tasty and I'm always impressed that it's a buffet! They're always open on holidays so if you're available, you should come on a weekday since it's much cheaper. On weekdays, it's $19.99 and on weekends, it's $34(?). They also offer a senior discount for a few dollars off. The only difference I noticed is that they have less seafood (no lobster and no king crab) on weekdays. Considering the price difference, the weekday price is much more worth it. Not only is their food tasty but their dessert bar is extensive. They have everything -- from pies and cakes to creme brûlée and chocolate covered strawberries. I never eat desserts at buffets because they're usually not good, but that's not the case at Jackson's! I love everything especially the creme brûlée. Their quality and flavor is comparable to actual dessert shops. If you have a chance, you should definitely give it a try!

38$ for AYCE lobster tails? Um. YES? I have never had lobster before and this was my first time having it. I had nothing to compare it to but the texture is a lot different compared to the crab. I googled online and lobsters go for $16 per pound -- these lobsters were HEAVY and I ate 6 to get my money's worth - AND MORE! Their prime rib was really tasty and tender. I also kept going back for the cocktail shrimp - those babies are jumbo shrimp, super meaty! Their creme brulee is AMAZING. The soft serve ice cream was also very creamy ans tasty - it didn't taste cheap I really enjoyed this buffet - unfortunately I'm not a gambler so I would only come back to this casino to eat at the buffet. We arrived around 10:40AM and sat down in less than 15 minutes, so I guess the reviews about the wait time depends on what time you actually arrive.

Unlimited lobster and crab legs! What can I say? I have never ate so much lobster in a meal in my life. Just lobster after lobster after lobster. At the end, I couldn't believe it, but I said to myself "that's enough lobster". Still can't believe I said that. The seafood is fresh and really good, since it goes out very fast and gets replaced very quickly. Very juicy seafood. There is also steak and dessert and other food you'd expect at a buffet. The line is really long outside. Come early. We went there at 10 am and there was already a line. The hostess told us if we went any later, it would be a 2 hour wait. The cost is ok. Something like $30 to $40 per person. Great price for the value. Will definitely come back! Very much looking forward to getting a food coma on lobster tails!
